Yuck. After Catfish it's going to be hard taking seriously all these movies we're getting about the people we communicate with via social networks. Whether that flick was real or not, it was emotionally powerful and had some serious points to make. On the other hand, David Schwimmer's Trust, his second directorial effort(after the disappointing Run Fatboy Run) looks like a heavy handed advertisement for To Catch a Predator. With an anvil of a score backgrounding the trailer, and far too many scenes of people looking angry and anguished, not even the inclusion of Clive Owen and Catherine Keener can get me remotely interested.
