Deadline is reporting a new addition to the cast of Ridley Scott's Alien
prequel-thingy, Prometheus. Logan Marshall-Green(Across the Universe
) has signed on to play Holloway, a crewman and possible love interest to the lead character Elizabeth Shaw, played by Noomi Rapace(Sherlock Holmes 2).Marshall-Green was most recently featured in Devil
, the M. Night Shymalan produced horror film from last year. He's not an actor I recognize, but he's been in a number of films I've seen, such as Brooklyn's Finest
, Across the Universe, and The Great Raid
. For the most part all of those films are forgettable, and apparently so were his performances in them. Looks a little bit like a poor man's Tom Hardy, doesn't he? Look for Prometheus to hit theaters on June 8th, 2012!
