Speculation has been leaning towards Chris Diamantopoulos(The Kennedys) to play Moe, but he's yet to sign. There are other key roles in the film to fill in the meantime, and Jane Lynch(Glee
) is now set for probably the biggest one. She'll play the Mother Superior in the orphanage where the trio grow up. I couldn't think of a better fit, to be honest. Lynch is a comedic genius, and an expert at physical comedy, which I'm sure her role will call for in spades. Sofia Vergara(Modern Family

. A friend to Slashfilm's Peter Sciretta ran into the actress where she handed him a note that simply reads "Kristen Bell 4 Johanna Mason!". If you follow Bell's Twitter feed, then you already know how big a fan of Suzanne Collins' books she is. Johanna Mason is a character that doesn't have a presence until the second book, Catching Fire. She's a District 7 tribute and winner of a previous Hunger Games. Oh, and as for that story about John C. Reilly being offered the role of mentor Haymitch Abernathy? The actor's agent says that it's not true. D'oh. * The cast of Piranha 3DD just got a little bit worse and a lot crazier as Gary Busey(remember when this guy was a legit actor??) has joined the film in an unspecified role.
