1st look at A Very Harold and Kumar Christmas
Could A Very Harold and Kumar Christmas become a new holiday classic? I hope so. My Christmas season needs another disturbed yuletide comedy to watch alongside Bad Santa. It's been six years for us since Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay, but in the lives of the two buddy stoners it's been three years. They're no longer friends, having gone their separate ways and started their own families. That is until Kumar(Kal Penn) shows up on Harold's(Jon Cho) doorstep with a package, and accidentally burns down the Christmas tree belong to Harold's father. Oops. The two embark on an effed up journey through New York looking for the perfect tree, where I'm sure they'll get into all types of screwy mishaps. Here's just hoping there aren't any more cyclopses.
EW has our first image from the film, featuring the duo decked out like extras from The Nutcracker, and alongside Neil Patrick Harris, who is only making a cameo this time. >sniffle<
Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg have been around since the beginning, writing all three films and directing Guantanamo Bay. This one's helmed by unknown commercials director, Todd Strauss-Schulson.
The gift that is A Very Harold and Kumar Christmas opens in 3-D(seriously) on November 4th.
