George Clooney prepares to meet Sid in new clip from The Descendants

In Alexander Payne's The Descendants, George Clooney plays a wealthy Hawaiian land baron who goes on a road trip with his two daughters(Shailene Woodley, Amara Woodley) to re-connect with them, but also to find the man his wife was having an affair with. This is all kicked off after a boating accident leaves his wife in a coma. 

After scoring some major points on the festival circuit in recent days, The Descendants seems poised for some heavy love when the major award nominations start to come around, with Clooney especially looking like a contender for two films(this and The Ides of March). Payne hasn't been around much since 2004's Sideways, sticking to mostly a producing role on a few projects, but The Descendants may be his ticket back into the spotlight.

In this latest clip, we see Matt King(Clooney) trying his best to secure a little parenting help from his oldest daughter, and getting a harsh response in return.
