New test footage for David Fincher produced adaptation of The Goon

For at least a year now we've been seeing footage, heck even a trailer, for the beautifully animated CGI adaptation of The Goon, Eric Powell's indie comic about a super powered, brutish thug and his daily run-ins with the supernatural. David Fincher, along with Blur Studios, have been trying to put the film together since it was first announced back in 2008, even going so far as to secure Clancy Brown and Paul Giamatti to do the major voicework.

On his Twitter feed, Powell has released even more test footage for the potential film, which still has yet to secure funding. Incredible, considering the popularity of the character, Fincher's involvement, and how awesome this stuff looks. I smell a hit if anybody is wise enough to back this thing. Check out that new footage below, which has The Goon giving some pointers on how to handle a "slackjaw"....
