Daniel Radcliffe opens the door to superstition in new trailer for The Woman in Black
Now that I've seen My Week with Marilyn, I can express my disappointment over the misuse of Harry Potter alum, Emma Watson. She barely registers a blip in the Marilyn Monroe biopic, so we'll just have to wait for The Perks of Being a Wallflower before we get a proper gauge on where her career is headed. For her 'Potter' co-star, Daniel Radcliffe, he jumped immediately into a genre gig that let's us see how far he's come over the last few years. I've dug the trailers and clips for The Woman in Black thus far, feeling that they've captured the ominous, gloomy mood pretty well. The latest 60 second sneak peek released today only confirms my thoughts.
With a script by X-men: First Class' Jane Goldman and directed by James Watkins(Eden Lake), the story centers on a young lawyer who experiences crazy happenings of a mystical nature while settling the affairs of a deceased woman in a small England town. What worries me is the February 3rd release date, which puts it firmly in the middle of the "crappy season". We'll see, but for now check out this sneak peek...
