Paramount's fears that Paranormal Activity was starting to lose steam should have been calmed by now, but that's not going to stop them from milking the "found footage" horror genre until it's dry as a bone. The studio has been pushing pretty hard for their latest genre film, The Devil Inside, and I have to admit the teaser trailers I've seen in theaters have received exactly the type of jumpy reaction they've been hoping for.
Written and directed by William Brent Bell(Stay Alive), the story begins with the murder of three people by the woman they were performing an exorcism on. Twenty years later, her daughter begins to question if she is also posessed. Yeah, you've heard it all before, but I promise after watching this clip and the shocking turn it takes, you'll realize why Paramount is so high on making The Devil Inside there next hit when it opens on January 6th...[Shocktilyoudrop]
