Has this been the most secretive year for major Hollywood movies ever? Between Ridley Scott's Prometheus, Terrence Malick's two upcoming films, and James Bond 23 aka Skyfall, we know next to nothing about any of them. Fortunately, through a couple of previously seen photos, we're starting to learn a bit more about James Bond's latest adventure, directed by Sam Mendes.
TheDailyMail has been hanging around on set during filming, and managed to catch this first look shot of Javier Bardem, playing one of the film's villains, who the site refers to as Silva. In the image, he's disguised as a Metropolitan police officer, although to me he kinda looks like Sacha Baron Cohen's Bruno. Just sayin'. While he may appear to be on the verge of a heroic venture, he's actually about to cause some major havoc, but will have to contend with a number of London's finest. A new shot of Daniel Craig looking dapper was also caught.
Skyfall will put Bond's loyalty to M to the test when MI6 is attacked by an old threat from her past. Due to open on November 9th, it co-stars Naomie Harris, Judi Dench, Berenice Marlohe, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, Ola Rapace, Albert Finney, Rory Kinnear, and Helen McCrory.
