One of the things I liked best about the previous trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man was the blend of light-hearted humor and grittiness that I think has defined the character throughout his history. No comic book hero has been put through the wringer more than Peter Parker, and it looks like Marc Webb's reboot is going to tap into that by having Spidey attacked not only physically, but emotionally as well.
Sony Pictures has released a new international trailer which jettisons some of the humor in favor of a faster, more action packed look at the film, which stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Sally Field, Denis Leary, and Martin Sheen. Along with that comes a new photo of Parker doing the mambo on some guy's face on a subway train.
