Brit Marling, Zal Batmanglij, and Fox Searchlight are doing all the right things when it comes to hyping their creepy cult mystery film, Sound of My Voice. Cleverly releasing the mesmerizing first twelve minutes of the film, which clued viewers in to some of the lurking questions surrounding the mysterious cult at the center of the story, they then followed that up with an even more intriguing trailer. Did I also mention they sent out some rather spooky press materials to some of us, including a poster with that weird secret handshake that was seen in some of the earlier footage.
In the latest clip from the film, the two investigative journalists investigating Maggie(Marling), who claims to be from the future, begin to question just how deep they've sunk while trying to expose her as a fraud. Are they in over their heads? Yeah, probably. Based on everything we've heard so far, this is a movie you don't want to have spoiled, so hopefully there won't be too many more of these clips. Still, this is a good one. Sound of My Voice opens on April 27th....
