Welcome to the World of Kid Cudi as one of Michael Bay's 'Ninja Turtles'. Maybe.

I don't care much for Kid Cudi, either as an actor or as a so-called rapper. But the guy has his fans, and more power to them. Enjoy. What concerns me now is what he's been flashing around his Tumblr page, this image of a Ninja Turtle he received from Brad Fuller and Andrew Form, who along with Michael Bay make up the Platinum Dunes brain trust. Y'know, those guys who are making that Ninja Turtles movie everybody is up in arms about? Yeah, that. Here's the image....

Cudi, real name Scott Mescudi, had been meeting with the two and received the sketch by Kevin Eastman of an unknown turtle. His post alongside the image concluded with the words "Hint hint mane". Horrible and irritating English aside, Cudi seems to be hinting that he is not only talking with Platinum Dunes about the Jonathan Liebesman directed flick, but that he is already on board. Later he tweeted this to all those die hard TMNT fans still chugging Turtle Wax over Bay's plan to make the heroes aliens...

"To everyone with doubts & concerns about the new TMNT reboot, trust me, there is NOTHING to worry about. Trust. Everyone will be pleased!"

Now it's possible that Cudi got an inside look because he'll be working on the soundtrack or something, but I think he'll actually be voicing one of these bad boys. We'll certainly find out soon enough. Ninja Turtles is due to open next year on Christmas Day.  [Huffington Post]
