Yeah, that's right. Charlie Sheen, Mr. "tiger blood" himself, will no doubt send this country into some sort of nuclear disaster as the President of the United States in Robert Rodriguez's Machete Kills. The man with the poetic fingers and adonis DNA was announced for the flick via Rodriguez's own Twitter account, firmly establishing that this is going to be the wildest Machete film yet.
An image of Sheen on set was released not too long after, with the actor looking in high spirits. The question is whether he'll be playing himself elected President, or if he'll be a totally different guy. Let's hope it's the former, as any movie that has the people being stupid enough to elect Sheen into office is one I want to see. How'd you like to be a fly on the wall during those crazy-off sessions between Sheen and Mel Gibson? The lunatic quotient, and the insurance premiums, just went through the friggin' roof, I'm sure.
Sheen joins the returning Danny Trejo, Jessica Alba, and Michelle Rodriguez, along with new faces Mel Gibson, Amber Heard, Demian Bichir, and Zoe Saldana. Filming is currently underway in Austin, TX. Sheen will be seen next starring in his new FX sitcom, Anger Management.
