The follow up to Guy Ritchie's 2009 hit adaptation of the classic detective, Game of Shadows delivers on everything promised by those looking for more of what worked the first time around. Fans of the literary Holmes will be especially pleased with the introduction of the only man who could match wits with Sherlock, Professor Moriarty. I don't remember being as blown away seeing this film as I was with the original but do remember having a great time with it. I will definitely be adding this to my purchase list.

Let's get this out of the way first, this movie is far more fun than people would have you believe. I may even put it ahead of the first flim, the perils of being campy violence I'm afraid. Punisher: War Zone suffered from the same stigma, people wanted to hate these movies so much they forgot to be objective. Idris Elba has a great role as a monk and, most importantly, old candle head Johnny Blaze has alot more screen time as the hellfire bounty hunter than he did previously. This one's going to be a rental for most, but if you bought the first movie than you'll definitely want to buy this!

The last son of Krypton faces a showdown not only with superpowered foes, but also some serious moral issues. The Elite is a band of superheroes who believe the bad guys should pay for their crimes with their lives, a big no no for Superman's way of things. This DC animated adventure brings you some pretty cool characters that you may not have seen before. Add on that the movie is beautifully animated and you have a must have for fans of animated comic book movies.

Thin Ice
In Darkness
