I've been hanging out with Brendon Connelly from Bleeding Cool and we just got out of a sneak screening of Marvel's One-Shot, Item 47. The short stars Lizzy Caplan and Jesse Bradford as a Bonnie and Clyde duo who find one of the alien weapons left over after The Avengers, and proceed to cause a little havoc. While that was fun, the juicy stuff came after the film was over.
A short Q & A that followed led to a few questions about the future Marvel Universe plans, and only one hit home. A little kid asked about plans for The Wasp and Ant-Man, and if they would possible be a part of The Avengers 2. While there weren't any firm answers, the moderator did tell the kid he definitely needed to be at tomorrow's panel. That to me sounds like an Ant-Man announcement, and to Brendon it definitely does.
We know Edgar Wright's already started pre-production as he's completed the test footage, so does this mean we'll see him on stage tomorrow? I hope so, and clearly so does that little kid.
Expect plenty of major announcements to come tomorrow as Marvel's panel is sure to be huge!
