Silent House This first mainstream outing for Martha Marcy May Marlene star Elizabeth Olsen was a little to reliant on it's single take gimmick and too light on scares. Still it delivers enough suspense and shivers to satisfy most Friday night couch potatoes and will be a solid rental for most. I honestly don't see a reason to buy this one (unless it's too help support your Punch Drunk Critics!), but if your looking for a fresh horror flick definitely pop this one up on Amazon Instant Video!
Side Note: Who in God's named approved this poster? Elizabeth Olsen is a natural beauty, but they managed to make her look like the little kids from 'The Grudge'!

Meeting Evil: A straight to home video release starring Samuel L. Jackson and Luke "How did my brother get more famous" Wilson Meeting Evil is a movie I can't recommend as I haven't actually seen it. That's not going to stop me from telling you I'm definitely watching this over the weekend. SLJ stars as a mysterious stranger who shows up at John's (Luke Wilson) doorstep asking for help with his car and end's up delivering hell on earth to John's world. Sam Jackson as a lunatic is something I will ALWAYS want to watch.

Jiro Dreams of Sushi: A must watch for big time sushi fans, Jiro is an 86-year old sushi chef who's largely considered the world's greatest at what he does. The part that gets me is that he serves this delicacy not in a gourmet eatery exclusive only to the stars but in a 10 seat eatery in a subway station. While I'm limited to the California roll our resident Sushi connoisseur Travis has given this documentary his full approval and says it's a must watch for raw fish fans!
