Trailer for CG-animated 'Resident Evil: Damnation'

Resident Evil had quite the presence at this year's Comic-Con, befitting one of the biggest media franchises in the world. Screen Gems took over the massive Hall H, bringing along Milla Jojovich, Michelle Rodriguez, and the rest of the cast of Resident Evil: Retribution. Also, Capcom was on hand with a major exhibit on the show floor, and led their own panel where they showed off this new trailer for the CG-animated Resident Evil: Damnation.

A sequel to 2008's Resident Evil: Degeneration, these films are totally separate from the live-action movies and are based in the world of the hit video games. That means less of a focus on the Alice character, and instead on the numerous supporting characters that populate the zombie-infested RE world. This one features the popular Leon S. Kennedy(played by Johann Urb in the live-action flicks) as the main protagonist.

These movies tend to get limited runs here before becoming big hits on DVD and Blu-Ray, so expect that to be the same now. Resident Evil: Damnation will open in Japan on October 27th. Check out the trailer below....[IGN]
