Warner Bros. and Peter Jackson have to look at this Tolkien Week as a spectacular success, one that has managed to get fans of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey even more worked up than they already were. The last few days have seen a bucketload of new photos, the reveal of the best trailer yet complete with alternate versions, and now the unveiling of this awesome new poster of Bilbo(Martin Freeman) wielding his vaunted weapon, Sting.
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey begins the trilogy in 2D, 3D, and IMAX on December 14th. Starring Martin Freeman, Ian McKellen, Richard Armitage, Cate Blanchett, Hugo Weaving, and more, the film follows Bilbo on an epic journey with Gandalf and a fellowship of warrior dwarves to reclaim their homeland from the dragon Smaug.
