Sara Paxton and Pat Healy reunite for some 'Cheap Thrills'
If Sara Paxton and Pat Healy weren't the centerpiece of Ti West's The Innkeepers, I'm not sure the film would have been nearly as enjoyable as it turned out to be. The two simply had a great chemistry together, and if they could make one horror film so much better, why not see if they can do it again?
THR reports that Paxton and Healy will reunite in the indie thriller, Cheap Thrills. Directed by E.L. Katz(Home Sick) and co-starring Ethan Embry, David Koechner, and Amanda Fuller, the story follows a "new father facing eviction who is reunited with a high school friend when a wealthy couple challenges them to the ultimate game of dare, testing the limits of physical pain and morality in exchange for cash."
Lightning rarely strikes twice, but I'll take any chance to see if Paxton and Healy can recapture that same magic. Production begins later this week in Los Angeles. Healy can be seen in theaters right now as the bad guy of Craig Zobel's excellent crime drama, Compliance.
