Red band trailer for WWE Studios' 'No One Lives' with Luke Evans
After years as something of a Hollywood laughingstock, WWE Studios has begun to turn the corner into legitimacy. No longer relying on their in-ring superstars to push their films only to their core audience, they've begun to attract bigger names eager to work with the studio. This year they've had a couple of decent success stories in Dead Man Down with Colin Farrell, and The Call starring Halle Berry, the latter the highest-grossing film in the studio's history. Not too shabby, but they're already moving on to what's next, the horror thriller No One Lives, and they've just dropped a new red band trailer.
Starring the red-hot Luke Evans (Fast & Furious 6, The Hobbit), the film follows a ruthless gang who get more than they bargained for after kidnapping a young couple. After they hole up in an abandoned house and kill the woman, they find themselves at odds with the man, who turns the tables on them and proves to be a seasoned killer in his own right. Adelade Clemens, America Olivo, and Lee Tergesen co-star, and since this is a WWE production, the dancing "Funkasaurus" Brodus Clay gets in on the action.
Directed by Ryuhei Kitamura, No One Lives opens in theaters on May 10th.
