New Trailer and Poster For 'I Give It A Year' Starring Rose Byrne and Rafe Spall

Dan Mazer has made his name working alongside Sacha Baron Cohen, co-writing the brilliant screenplay for Borat, and the not-so-brilliant Bruno. But now he's making the move to his first directorial feature with the Brit romantic comedy, I Give It A Year, which made quite a splash at SXSW and is hoping to maybe give the genre a better reputation when it opens next month.

A new trailer and poster have been released, and while there's nothing outwardly novel about the premise, it has a charming cast and appears to be genuinely funny. Rose Byrne and Rafe Spall play a mismatched couple whose friends don't expect their marriage to last more than a year. Anna Faris and Simon Baker play gorgeous temptations who make the situation even more tenuous.

Co-starring Stephen Merchant, Minnie Driver, and Jason Flyming, I Give It A Year hits VOD on July 3rd, then theaters on August 9th.
