New Images from 'Thor: The Dark World'

A batch of new photos from Thor: The Dark World have been released by Empire, and if anything the show why Marvel chose Game of Thrones' Alan Taylor to direct it. Judging by all that we've seen, the bulk of the story is going to be spent on Asgard, and Taylor seems to be pulling from the HBO series in crafting its look. The images also provide a better glimpse at Malekitch (Christopher Eccleston) and the Dark Elves, Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Hemidall (Idris Elba) having a chat, and of course Tom Hiddleston as Loki.

Thor: The Dark World opens on November 8th.
