First Clip from Alexandre Aja's 'Horns' Starring Daniel Radcliffe
It's going to be a busy season for Daniel Radcliffe, or more accurately a busy October. Not only will he fill the shoes of famed poet Allen Ginsberg in Kill Your Darlings, but he'll don a pair of gnarly horns for Alexandre Aja's adaptation of Horns. Based on the novel supernatural mystery novel by Joe Hill, Horns has Radcliffe as Ignatitus "Ig" Perrish, who a year earlier was suspected in the murder of his girlfriend. One morning he awakens to discover a pair of devilish horns sprouting from his head, horns which force others to reveal their most basic, animalistic urges and truths. They also grant him the ability to learn an individual's darkest secrets, a talent which comes in handy as he searches for his girlfriend's real killer.
The first clip has been released after its debut at Toronto, giving us a chance to see Radcliffe's nubs in action. The scene is a pretty quiet one, with Ig nonchalantly staring down the barrel of a neighbor's gun, but it does a pretty good job of setting up the film's tone. Co-starring Juno Temple, Max Minghella, James Remar, Joe Anderson and Kelli Garner, Horns has yet to gain U.S. distribution but that may be changing very soon. [Collider]
