Check Out 'Thor 2' in 3D for 5-Minute Preview of 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier'

We already know there isn't a studio that cross-promotes better than Marvel and Disney, and it looks like they've found a way to make sure when audiences buy their tickets for Thor: The Dark World next week, they'll be paying a bit extra.

Fandango has learned 3D screenings of the Thor sequel will come with more than the usual post-credits sequence. A five-minute sneak preview of next year's Captain America: The Winter Soldier will also accompany the film, but exactly what footage will be shown is anybody's guess. If I were a betting man (and I am) I'd say it will be the elevator sequence, glimpsed in the recent trailer, in which Cap is betrayed by his own men and a close-quarters battle ensues. The scene played at Comic-Con and got the crowd hyped more than anything, so it's a pretty solid choice and the run time is just about perfect.

So there ya go. Thor: The Dark World opens in 3D on November 8th.
