Jessica Brown Findlay In 'Posh'; Logan Marshall-Green Joins 'Madame Bovary'; Willem Dafoe Is Andy Warhol
* Filming has already wrapped up on Lone Scherfig's big screen version of stageplay Posh, but we're only now getting a full idea of the cast. Former Downton Abbey star Jessica Brown Findlay, whose name seems to be up for every major female role lately, has taken on one of the leads. She joins an impressive young cast that includes Max Irons, Sam Claflin, Douglas Booth, Holliday Grainger, and Natalie Dormer in the film about a fictional version of Oxford University's prestigious Bullingdon Club. Brown-Findlay will play Rachel, a waitress who gets caught up in the rowdy all-boys club's struggles over the course of a single night. [Up and Comers]
* Tom Hardy lookalike Logan Marshall-Green, Olivier Gourmet and Laura Carmichael (another Downton Abbey alum) have joined Mia Wasikowska in the latest adaptation of Flaubert's Madame Bovary. Directed by Sophie Barthes and starring Paul Giamatti, Ezra Miller, and Henry Lloyd-Hughes, the story follows the titular bored wife who lives lavishly and has numerous affairs to escape a boring life.
* Willem Dafoe joins the long and decidedly strange list of actors to don the silver wig and play Andy Warhol on film, taking on the pop art icon in director Bertrand Bonello's Saint Laurent. Starring Olga Kurylenko, Léa Seydoux, and Gaspard Uriel as famous fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent, it's expected open in France next year on May 14th. [Allocine]
