In case yesterdays 7-second teaser for X-men: Days of Future Past wasn't enough, and chances are it wasn't, then maybe these new images via Empire will suffice. They give a glimpse at the 1970s vibe of the film, especially in the image of young Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) and Magneto (Michael Fassbender) embroiled in an intense game of chess. It looks like their ideological rivalry will continue to spill over into their personal lives. Hugh Jackman is back as a bullet-riddled, ripped Wolverine, who was sent back in time to stop a terrible event from occurring. And it also looks as if the romance between Kitty Pryde (Ellen Page) and Iceman (Shawn Ashmore) is still very much on. Cool stuff.
X-men: Days of Future Past opens on May 23rd 2014.
