New Trailer for Hurricane Katrina Thriller 'Hours' Starring Paul Walker
There was a time when Paul Walker had something of a viable career outside of the Fast & Furious franchise, but those days are long gone. It's doubtful anybody remembers last year's dreadful Vehicle 19, and chances are when Brick Mansions (the unwanted District B13 remake) arrives it too will be ignored. What won't be so easy to escape is the disaster film, Hours, which is getting a wide release and deals with the hot button Hurricane Katrina issue.
The first first trailer was released some weeks ago, and now a newer version has been released. Walker plays a husband whose wife (Genesis Rodriguez) has just given birth to their son, only to be trapped within the storm-ravaged hospital. It kind of resembles the frantic pacing of Walker's underrated Running Scared from a few years ago, but the real-life situation gives it a more poignant touch. We'll have to trust in writer/director Eric Heisserer (The Thing) to bring it all together.
Hours hits theaters on December 13th.
