'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire' Reveals New Images and Featurette

The marketing for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire has been going on since before the credits finished rolling on the first film, I think. Thankfully it comes out next month so Lionsgate only has a few more weeks to sell a film that has a fiercely loyal audience who may have already begun lining up to see it. A couple of days after the "final" poster (we'll see about that) hit the web, a handful of new images have been released courtesy of EW, featuring stars Jennifer Lawrence and Jena Malone.

Starring Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Donald Sutherland, Sam Claflin, Jeffrey Wright, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Elizabeth Banks, Woody Harrelson, Lenny Kravitz and more, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire opens November 22nd, Judging by the included featurette, Lionsgate really wants you to see it in IMAX. 

PLOT: THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE begins as Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark.  Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a “Victor’s Tour” of the districts.  Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) – a competition that could change Panem forever.
