The Talent Show, for the Ladies Edition: Daniel Bruhl
So every week Travis and John get their boxers all in a bunch and post about some of their favorite hotties who are starring in movies opening that week; former picks have included Amber Heard of Machete Kills and Gemma Arterton of Runner Runner. Yeah, yeah, they're both beautiful. They're women in Hollywood. YOU HAVE TO BE BEAUTIFUL TO BE A WOMAN IN HOLLYWOOD. So excuse me while I get all feminist over here and elbow my way into this for-dudes-only party with my choice for super-hot GUY who stars in a movie opening this week. And that is Daniel Bruhl, people. The hottest half-German, half-Spanish guy around. Or, at least the hottest half-German, half-Spanish guy around who I know of and who happens to have a major role in The Fifth Estate, now in theaters.
You probably first noticed Bruhl from Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds, in which he played the heroic Nazi who fell for Melanie Laurent's Shoshanna, without knowing she was secretly Jewish and planning revenge on Hitler and Co. Since then, he's been stealing movies out from under larger stars; he was excellent as Niki Lauda in the underrated Rush, besting Chris Hemsworth in practically every scene, and he more than holds his own against Benedict Cumberbatch in The Fifth Estate. So yes, he's legit.
Oh, and he also has a great beard game. And he looks fantastic in sunglasses. And he's nice enough to sign autographs for fans. And he's extremely dreamy in a variety of fine men's clothing, from sweaters to trench coats. Just feast your eyes, ladies. Or guys. Or both. DANIEL BRUHL IS AN EQUAL-OPPORTUNITY SEXPOT.
