Thor Takes the Battlefield in New 'Thor: The Dark World' Clip

The addition of Game of Thrones director Alan Taylor seems to have emboldened Marvel to go bigger with Thor: The Dark World. Kenneth Branagh's film featured plenty of action, but it never hit the battlefield in as grand a scale as Taylor's sequel appears to, at least according to this latest clip. Following on yesterday's footage centering on villain Malekith the Accursed, the latest has Thor fighting alongside Sif (Jaime Alexander) and the Warriors Three. It's a scene that resembles Game of Thrones in more ways than one, except for the flying hammer, of course.

Starring Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Hopkins, Christopher Eccleston, Natalie Portman, and Idris Elba, Thor: The Dark World opens November 8th.
