Watch Zack Snyder's Amazing Animated 75th Anniversary Superman Short

Zack Snyder may not be the first name people associate with Superman, but as the world celebrates the 75th anniversary of the most famous superhero ever, he's the one who has delivered a tribute worthy of the Man of Steel. DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. have released an amazing two-minute animated short film, co-directed by Snyder and Bruce Timm (Superman: The Animated Series) that explores much of the hero's 75 years, going all the way back to Action Comics #1. Encompassing multiple styles that reflect Superman's evolution over the years, we also get a look at his numerous enemies, and animated versions of the real-life interpretations from Richard Donner's films, the Smallville series, and yep, Snyder's Man of Steel.

The short debuted over the weekend at New York Comic-Con and will air on Cartoon Network later today before being included in the Man of Steel Blu-Ray package next month.
