Back when "Breaking Bad" was nearing the end, there was a contingent online who thought it would be funny if somehow that show and Bryan Cranston’s earlier iconic TV role of Hal the inept and scaredy-cat father from "Malcolm in the Middle" met up. Since "Breaking Bad" ended, it seems the powers that be of awesome have given us a "Malcolm in the Middle" ending with Jane Kaczmarek as his wife Lois in all her hot-headed glory.
For some, this might be just greatly funny and rewarding but for the really astute this is also homage to the ending of "Newhart," wich is one of the best series finales ever. Watch below and crack up as we see Hal tell Lois about "Breaking Bad."
