New Release Dates for 'Fantastic Four', 'Assassin's Creed', 'Susan Cooper', and More

Just when it looked like the summer of 2015 couldn't get more crowded, a little release date juggling by 20th Century Fox guarantees the busiest blockbuster season ever.  First up, Fox has moved Josh Trank's Fantastic Four reboot from March 6th 2015 to June 19th. That puts it head-to-head with Pixar's ambitious Inside Out. We still have no clue who is going to play Marvel's "First Family" in the film, although some names that have been kicked around are Allison Williams, Michael B. Jordan, and Miles Teller.

Moving from its November 2014 perch into the March 2015 spot vacated by Fantastic Four is The Secret Service, the latest pairing of comic book scribe Mark Millar and director Matthew Vaughn. Starring Colin Firth, Taron Egerton, Michael Caine, Samuel L. Jackson, and Sophie Cookson, the espionage tale follows a British secret agent who must train his rebellious nephew in the art of being a spy.

The shuffling continues as video game adaptation Assassin's Creed slides from its June 15th date to an August 7th premiere. The film stars Michael Fassbender and will closely mirror the storylines of UbiSoft's hit franchise.

On the comedy end of things, Fox has set Vince Vaughn's road trip comedy formerly known as Business Trip for October 24th 2014. And the third pairing of Paul Feig and Melissa McCarthy, the James Bond-esque spy flick Susan Cooper, will open May 22nd 2015.
