Superhero worlds are colliding! The Avengers' Samuel L. Jackson and The Dark Knight's Michael Caine are teaming up on a new film, and sadly there won't be a single cape in sight. We can expect to see plenty of twists and turns, though, both literally and figuratively.
Jackson and Caine will star in Harry and the Butler, a new drama directed by George C. Wolfe (Lackawanna Blues) and written by Damian F. Slattery. The New Orleans-set piece has Jackson as a former jazz virtuoso who has fallen on hard times and works as a roller coaster mechanic. When he comes into a large sum of money, he drunkenly decides to hire an old English butler (Caine), and it's a decision that changes both of their lives.
Filming is set to begin next Spring, probably around the time we'll see Jackson as Nick Fury in Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
