'Gotham' TV Series Finds Its Young Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle

Fox's upcoming Gotham TV series is planning to have two major storylines running parallel to one another, although either could probably support a show individually. One arc is the development of detective James Gordon into the Gotham City commissioner we all know he grows up to be, while the other plot involves the pre-teen Bruce Wayne immediately following the murder of his parents. While most of the adult characters have been cast, The Wrap reports that the young actors playing Bruce Wayne and future Catwoman Selina Kyle have been found.

14-year-old David Mazouz (Touch) has been cast as young Bruce Wayne, who is described as "serious and soulful". Taking on the role of Selina Kyle is newcomer Camren Bicondova, whose only big screen credit is a role in the kid dance flick, Battle America. The future DC Comics antihero is described as" a teenage orphan, street thief and skilled pickpocket who is suspicious and wholly unpredictable.", and "dangerous when cornered". They make up the final series regulars

Starring Ben McKenzie, Sean Pertwee, Jada Pinkett Smith, and more, Gotham is expected to air this fall with Bruno Heller (The Mentalist) as showrunner.
