First Trailer for Horror 'Jessabelle' Starring Mark Webber and Sarah Snook

When Jason Blum and the gang over at Blumhouse put their muscle behind a horror project, it's probably a good idea to pay attention. Nobody has mastered the art of the low-budget horror better than them, with the vast majority of their films raking in big bucks with very little investment. And now Blum has another horror on the way in Jessabelle, in hopes that it can match the success of Paranormal Activity, The Purge, Insidious, and more.

Directed by Kevin Greutert (Saw 3D) with a script by Robert Ben Garant (Reno 911) the film stars Sarah Snook and Mark Webber in the story of a woman returned to her Louisiana home to recuperate after an accident leaves her unable to walk. While there she begins to encounter a long-tormented spirit that will make her wish she had stayed at a hotel.

Also starring Larisa Oleynik (The Secret World of Alex Mack represent!!) and Joelle Carter (High Fidelity), Jessabelle haunts theaters August 29th.
