Aaron Taylor-Johnson Will Have a Role in 'Fifty Shades of Grey'

Before Charlie Hunnam briefly became the guy settled upon to play Christian Grey in Fifty Shades of Grey, the name briefly linked to the role was Aaron Taylor-Johnson. Obviously that didn't work out for either actor, and given that Johnson's wife Sam Taylor-Wood took over as director it was a little surprising he didn't end up with it. But it turns out he'll be appearing in the film, anyway, in an unspecified role.

Wood revealed to Access Hollywood (via the Daily Mail) that Johnson will have a role in the film, but didn't elaborate on what it was. Could it be a part written in just for him? That's a possibility as they are in post-production on the racy adaptation of E.L. James' best-selling erotic novel, which will star Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson.

So add this to Johnson's string of likely blockbusters that includes Godzilla and Avengers: Age of Ultron. Fifty Shades of Grey opens February 13th 2015.
