Red Band Trailer for Sci-Fi Epic 'Snowpiercer'

Bong Joon-Ho's highly anticipated Snowpiercer will be opening the LA Film Festival in June, indicating once and for all that the arguments are over in regards to the final version. Harvey Weinstein won't chop out 20 minutes as he was tempted to do, and Joon-Ho will get the full director's cut he wanted. It'll only open in limited release, but hey, those are the breaks.

An action-packed red band trailer and some new images have been released for the futuristic film. Chris Evans, Tilda Swinton, Jamie Bell, Alison Pill, Octavia Spencer, Song Kang-ho, John Hurt, and Ed Harris star, with the story set in a future when an attempt to end global warming thrusts the world into a new ice age. What remains of humanity travels the world in a train propelled by a perpetual motion engine, until a violent class war erupts amongst the passengers.

Despite the mixed response it earned on the festival circuit, Snowpiercer is one film I'm dying to see on June 27th.
