Guaranteed that Google searches for 'Eden Sher' just went up about 200%. The 22-year-old actress currently stars on ABC's sitcom, The Middle, but mostly she's still a talent many are unfamiliar with. That could be about to change, though, as Sher recently tweeted that she's taken a meeting with Marvel for an undisclosed role.
Went to marvel offices at noon for a "15 minute meeting." 3 hrs and 80 lbs of issues later, here I am paralyzed from excitement.

And Marvel aren't being shy about it, tweeting an image of her in the "House of Ideas" where she went to supposedly pick up comics and talk about The Middle's season finale. Yeah, right....

The Internet has been going crazy with rumors she's being eyed for the Ms. Marvel role in Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Sher added fuel to the fire by tweeting back-and-forth with the comic's editor, Sana Amanat.@MiniB622 literally mad that walking is keeping me from starting Ms. Marvel rn. TYVM 4 the issues. Promise next time I see you I won't cry.

She seems a bit young to play Carol Danvers, and it's doubtful Marvel would want her to play the current Muslim version of the character, Kamala Khan. There's always the possibility they want her for one of their upcoming Netflix series, possibly as Jessica Jones, but that seems doubtful given her commitments on The Middle. Maybe she's being eyed for Agent Carter? Or for a role in an upcoming film we don't know about yet? It's unlikely she spent three hours there just to pick up comics and chat with a few editors, but until we know more all we can do is speculate. It might turn out to be nothing.
