It doesn't happen often, but you know those times when it seems like Bruce Willis hasn't had a movie in theaters in awhile? Well, those are the times he's busy making crappy bargain bin genre flicks alongside 50 Cent. Last year we learned of another one the unusual duo was teaming up for, and that movie was a crime thriller titled The Prince. It sounded like a cheap Taken knock-off then, and the trailer now basically just confirms.
Directed by Brian A. Miller and starring the two most bored actors in the world: John Cusack and Jason Patric, the film sees Willis as the bad guy this time, kidnapping the daughter of a mechanic with a criminal past. Of course the father has to use his particular set of skills, which apparently is the art of putting audiences to sleep with disinterested line deliveries, to get his daughter back. Also co-starring in the film is Rain, who you may recognize as that guy from Ninja Assassin. Or maybe you won't recognize him from that. Forget it.
The Prince hits theaters (!!!) and VOD on August 22nd.
