Disney has released a new, extended trailer
toy advertisement for this summer's sequel,
Planes: Fire & Rescue. The film brings back Dane Cook as Dusty Crophopper, who is forced to give up his career as an air racer due to a busted engine. Inspired to do good and still live a life of excitement, Dusty joins an elite firefighting team protecting national parks. The first film, a spinoff from the
Cars franchise, performed exceedingly well with $219M and probably sold a ton of merchandise, and that's all the reason Disney needs to keep pumping these movies out no matter how bland they may look.
Also featuring the voices of Stacy Keach, Ed Harris, Julie Bowen, Fred Willard, Cedric the Entertainer, and Teri Hatcher,
Planes: Fire & Rescue opens July 18th.
