Comic-Con: New U.S. Trailer for 'Horns' Starring Daniel Radcliffe

Hard to believe that this has been Daniel Radcliffe's first Comic-Con after so many years as the boy wizard, Harry Potter. But now he's officially part of the community of pop culture die-hards, and seemed to embrace it during the Horns panel in Hall H. With a murderous role in Kill Your Darlings (he cracked a joke yesterday about nobody seeing it) and the hit horror The Woman in Black, Radcliffe's choices have skewed a bit darker lately, and Horns is no different.

A new trailer cut for U.S. audiences was released as part of the panel, and it shows the film to be especially moody, but with a touch of black humor. It's a tricky combination director Alexandre Aja (High Tension, Piranha) has pulled off in the past, and Radcliffe seems more than up to the challenge, too. He plays Ig Parrish, who stands accused of the rape and murder of his girlfriend. A night of heavy drinking ends with Ig waking up to discover powerful horns growing from his head, basically granting him the power of Satan. It's a gift Ig uses to uncover the truth while literally bringing Hell on the townspeople.

Also starring Juno Temple, Heather Graham, Joe Anderson, and David Morse, Horns opens October 30th. For more, check out my Comic-Con interview with Aja.
