It may seem like most of Comic-Con's Hall H crowd is obsessed with Marvel and Warner Bros., but the truth is the TV panels are what they're here for. Seriously, the hall clears out after Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead are over (it's damned empty now and Daniel Radcliffe is on stage talking Horns, kinda sad), and in the case of the latter it's always fun to see what new tortures Rick Grimes and his crew will be put through.
AMC debuted the first trailer for the fifth season of The Walking Dead, and it shows this season won't be spent entirely in a locked trailer. So that's good news. The Terminus folks still have Rick and his companions in a bind, but it looks like the promise of curing the zombie plague by going to Washington, DC has bought some time.
The Walking Dead returns on October 12th at 9pm.
