Director's Cut of 'X-men: Days of Future Past' to Hit Blu-Ray This Year

With about a million mutants running around across three timelines, there were bound to be some significant edits to Bryan Singer's X-men: Days of Future Past. And most of them we already know about, such as a couple of scenes involving Rogue (Anna Paquin) which were almost entirely removed, and also Halle Berry's Storm was meant to have a slightly larger part to play. Fortunately for fans who want to see everything that Singer envisioned, they will get their chance when the Blu-Ray releases later this year.

Producer Lauren Shuler Donner responded to a fan's tweet with the confirmation of an X-men: Days of Future Past director's cut that will include those removed scenes...
She doesn't provide anymore details and it's unlikely we'll learn more for awhile as the film is still performing very well in theaters. It's the top-grossing domestic release of the year at $227M and has earned $724M worldwide, so expect X-men: Days of Future Past to be a hot Blu-Ray package in the coming months.
