New Posters from David Fincher's 'Gone Girl' Drop Some Clues

There's a great deal of anticipation for David Fincher's adaptation of Gillian Flynn's best-selling novel, Gone Girl, but so far we've seen very little from it other than a teaser trailer. That will change tomorrow when a new trailer is released for the film led by Batman himself, Ben Affleck, but for now eager fans will have to follow the evidence revealed in a handful of teaser posters.

Flynn's novel centers on former journalist-turned-bar owner Nick (Affleck) who is suspected in the disappearance of his wife Amy (Rosamund Pike) on their fifth wedding anniversary.  The images put evidence of the crime into evidence bags including some sexy lingerie, a possible murder weapon, a wedding photo from happier times for the couple, and a partially burned, accusatory note dated "July 5th" which happens to be their anniversary.

Also starring Neil Patrick Harris, Emily Ratajkowski, Tyler Perry, Patrick Fugit,  Casey Wilson, Scoot McNairy, and Boyd Holbrook, Gone Girl opens October 3rd.  [Indiewire/Hitfix/AwardsDaily/HuffPo]
