Woody Allen's Next Film is a Murder Mystery

One guy you're probably never going to see at Comic-Con? Woody Allen. Could you imagine a panel with him pimping his latest film geared to the Early Bird Special crowd? Doubtful it would work, but you never know. Anyway, his Magic in the Moonlight is out now (review here), and Allen has already begun work on the next one, with a few details emerging.

Apparently Allen is ditching antiquated Euro-comedies and going for a "murder mystery, set on a college campus,” or at least that's what exec-producer Ron Chez told Chicago Sun Times. It's apparently going to be on the serious side, too, which could be good if it ends up on the same level as his excellent Match Point.

The untitled film reunites Allen with Emma Stone who will star alongside Joaquin Phoenix.
