Trailer for the Totally Disgusting Body Fluid Comedy 'Wetlands'

So back at Sundance earlier this year my friend and Addicted to Film colleague +Tim Gordon told me about this really disgusting movie he saw called Wetlands. It was actually one that was on my radar but simply couldn't make the timing work out. He filled my head with all sorts of descriptions of lewd acts committed by the sexy lead, Carla Juri, involving used feminine products, vegetables, and that's just the start. Having checked out the movie for myself at Filmfest DC, I can confirm it's pretty heinous and had fellow PDCer +Mae Abdulbaki gagging. Want to get a little taste of what Wetlands is all about? Then lucky for you because the trailer is now here. Just don't watch it at work, or while eating.

Basically, Wetlands is a kind of twisted coming-of-age romance centering on Helen, a rebellious skateboarding chick with a voracious sexual appetite. Unfortunately she also has no particular love for hygiene and often comments on how much she loves to stink. She also takes some serious gambles with her body in repulsive ways, and when she uses a razor to try and pop a nasty hemorrhoid it lands her in the hospital where she meets the guy of her dreams. If they had titled this 'Love & Body Odor" it would have been more appropriate.

Wetlands hits theaters in limited release on September 5th. My suggestion is not to see it if you have dinner plans after.
