There was no episode of Marvel's Agents of SHIELD last night, instead ABC ran one of those specials looking back at the studio's cinematic past in a way of hyping the future. They're usually pretty cool, and this one was a bit better as it also unveiled the first clip from Agent Carter, the series bringing back Hayley Atwell as agent Peggy Carter. This scene is notable for introducing Howard Stark's (Dominic Cooper) butler, Edwin Jarvis (James D'Arcy), the man who would be the inspiration for Tony Stark's computer system, JARVIS. With the series set in WWII and serving as a prelude to the formation of SHIELD, expect lots of little nods to the modern day Marvel Universe just like this one.
Agent Carter debuts on ABC beginning January 2015.
