In Hollywood it's all about who you know, and when you're Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt is your husband, why not get him for your next project? Last fall we learned Jolie's follow-up to Unbroken would be the anti-poaching drama, Africa, and now she's lured her husband in to take the starring role.
Pitt is in talks, possibly over the dinner table, to star as Richard Leakey in the Eric Roth-penned biopic. The Kenyan born Leakey began as an archaeologist before turning to politics and conservation efforts to help stop poaching of elephants in the 1980s. Jolie will be re-teaming with Unbroken cinematographer Roger Deakins so we know the film will look tremendous.
Filming could begin this summer. Pitt and Jolie recently wrapped filming on her third directorial effort, Behind the Sea, which both will star in. [TheWrap]
