Take a deep puff and drift into the cloudy haze of Paul Thomas Anderson's Inherent Vice! Based on the novel by Thomas Pyncheon, the film stars Joaquin Phoenix as pot smokin' detective Doc Sportello, who tries to solve the case of his ex-girlfriend's missing billionaire boyfriend in the psychedelic world of 1960s Los Angeles. Anderson's seventh feature film also stars Reese Witherspoon, Katherine Waterston, Owen Wilson, Josh Brolin, Jena Malone, Benicio Del Toro, Martin Short, and more.
